The Importance of Art Response

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

      I think that this statement is very false. I think that have art, music, and theatre classes is a great way for students to expose themselves to new ideas. These classes could spark something in a student and encourage them to pursue that career later in life. Many students enjoy taking art classes as it gives them somewhere to express their creative ability. For mean i really enjoy my art class, because it gives me a chance to express my ideas in a creative and different way. I think by offering this option to students to take these classes the education system is educating them to enter the workforce. Kids can take so many skills from these classes and use them at their jobs later on in life. I do think we should invest more money into these programs, to help further and inform the kids even more.
